TOPIC: Substance Use Disorders for the Dental Team
This course will:
1. Define substance use disorder
2. Highlight statistics associated with substance use
3. Cover specific social, pharmacologic effects of specific substances including cannabis, cocaine, opioids, heroin, methamphetamine, anabolic steroids
4. Provide management tips for the recovering patient
5. Provide postoperative pain management tips
