Bio:
Dr. James Wanamaker earned his DDS from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2016. He then completed a General Practice Residency at SUNY Upstate Hospital and the Syracuse VA Hospital. Dr. Wanamaker graduated from the Dawson Academy in 2023.
Additionally, he has completed training on dental photography and cosmetics at imP.R.E.S, Invisalign, and surgical implant placement at the Brighterway Institute. Dr. Wanamaker currently is the Director of Education at IgniteDDS, a dental education company helping new dentists succeed in their early career years. Since then, he has spoken at dental schools and conferences across the country.
Heavily involved in organized dentistry, Dr. Wanamaker sits on the ADA New Dentist Committee as Vice Chair and is the Past Chair of the New Dentist Committee for the New York State Dental Association. Dr. Wanamaker is a partner in his restorative based practice, Smiles of Skaneateles, located outside of Syracuse, NY.
