Dr. Brown is a native of the Mohawk Valley. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY and went on to obtain her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Brown then completed a general practice residency with the University at Buffalo/Kaleida Heath System. She then began her career as a staff dentist, and later as the Chief Dental Officer, for the Seneca Nation Health System in Salamanca, NY. During her tenure with public health, Dr. Brown’s clinic received the Nashville Area Indian Health Services Most Improved Dental Program Award in 2012 and the Best Overall Dental Program Award in 2013. In 2014, Dr. Brown received the National Oral Health Council’s Dental Provider of the Year, Junior Category Award. In 2015, Dr. Brown, wishing to relocate closer to her family, purchased the private practice of Dr. Myron Morgan.
She and her husband, Andy, also native of Central, NY, operate Neighborhood Family Dentistry, a family-based general dental practice in Utica, NY. Dr. Brown and Andy have two young children, Amorin (4) and Alden (2).
