About the Speaker
Sean Hudson is a graduate of Nazareth College where he received a B.S. in Business Administration and played collegiate lacrosse. After working out of state for several years Sean moved back to Rochester and joined his father, Brian, at Brian P. Hudson & Associates in 2002, he then became a full partner in 2005. Since joining the company Sean has become a member of the Practice Valuation Study Group, the American Business Brokers Association, the International Business Brokers Association where he is pursuing his Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation, the Institute of Business Appraisers where he has completed numerous CE credits in the business valuation field, the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and the International Society of Business Appraisers where he has received his Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) designation.
Brian P. Hudson & Associates became Hudson Transition Partners, Inc. in January of 2013 and Sean is now the President of the company. Sean is also the past President of the National Association of Practice Brokers and has had numerous articles published in Doctor of Dentistry Magazine and Dental Economics. Sean has spoken on the topic of dental practice valuations and transitions at the University at Buffalo Dental School, NYU Dental School, the Buffalo Niagara Dental Meeting, the Yankee Dental Congress, the Greater New York Dental Meeting as well as numerous study clubs and dental society meetings throughout New York State, Pennsylvania and New England. Sean has successfully transitioned well over four hundred dental practices and has completed hundreds more dental practice valuations since starting his career in 2002.
